I bought a piano. Did I tell you that? Well I did, and tonight I am more than ever thankful that I have it.

It has character doesn't it? The F key, as you can see, is broken. There is tape on all the keys and it has a couple scratches. It is also horribly out of tune but tonight when I was having a hard time calming fear, I played Amazing Grace and it sounded glorious to me.

Through many dangers, toils and snares...
we have already come.
T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far...
and Grace will lead us home.

"God hath not given us the spirit of fear. . ." I can remember that and know that he is watching over me. I can also be thankful for my piano and the gift of music to calm my troubled heart.

My piano is covered in things already.

Yes that is Cezanna peaking out. Sometimes I am in the middle of something and I think of a song to play so I sit right down and figure it out. Things get left on the piano.

My roommate rearranged our mantel and I have to say that I love it. The book I contributed is the French Impressionists there in the front. My pop-pop gave me that book and told me that was one of his favorite art books, and then G went on and on about the Impressionists and how she just loves the French. I love my Grands so much and especially how much they love art.
